Jessica Holfeltz is an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor, based in Utah, specializing in treating Out of Control Sexual Behavior (OCSB) and Addiction, Trauma, and Sexual Health and Connection. She received her Bachelors of Science in Social Work from the University of Utah and her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix.

She has worked alongside the late Corey Holmgren and helped create a step-by-step model, teaching couples and individuals how to find a healthy connection with the self through sexual health education, mindfulness, and connection.

She also is a sexual health educator/coach, helping individuals and couples navigate topics of pornography, masturbation, and sex, as well as helping parents connect with their children about these topics in a healthy, non-shaming way.

*Due to the current ambiguity surrounding licensing and working with individuals across state lines, all services across state lines are considered coaching services. Coaching clients will be assessed before services begin to see if they are a good fit for coaching due to the fact that coaching services are more limited than traditional therapy. Clients will be assessed throughout the duration of the coaching services to ascertain suitability.

Foundations of Healthy Sexuality

A clear understanding of healthy sexuality is foundational for navigating our society as a whole as well as the pornographic, exploitative culture. This presentation explores the empowerment that comes from using accurate, clear sexual health language, viewing sexual health as a progressive journey and not a destination, and exploring one’s own vision of sexual health in relation to values, beliefs, and personal experiences. In addition, attendees will be given tools to help themselves identify where they are in their own sexual health development as well as how they appropriately and effectively, without shame, teach their children about sexual health. This includes a discussion of consent – what it is and how to respectfully utilize communication regarding consent in everyday experiences. Self-exploration precedes exploration of intimacy and connection with a partner.
